DevGruha Tech Solution LLP (LLPIN: ACS-9005), having its registered address at E73 Fourth Floor TDI The Retreat Sec 89 Faridabad Haryana, acts as the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, determining the purpose and means of processing your personal data.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect personal information including your name, phone number, email address, postal address, date of birth, and profile details. We strictly collect authentication identifiers used for OTP-based verification (we do not collect or store passwords). We may also collect transaction information, device and technical information (IP address, browser type, OS), and public community content.
3. Sensitive Personal Data
Due to the nature of our Platform, you may voluntarily provide Sensitive Personal Data (SPD), including religious denomination, community/caste affiliations (e.g., Gotram for rituals), and financial transaction data. We process this data strictly for fulfilling spiritual bookings, rituals, and services, and require your explicit, separate consent before doing so.
4. How We Use Information
We use collected information to process bookings, contributions, registrations, verify identities, improve platform functionality, provide support, prevent fraud, monitor security, conduct analytics, and comply with applicable laws. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
5. Payments & Financial Information
Payments are processed through authorized third-party payment gateways, primarily Cashfree Payments. DevGruha does not directly store complete debit card, credit card, UPI PIN, or banking credentials. Financial data is routed securely as per RBI guidelines.
6. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use essential cookies to maintain platform security and user sessions. Non-essential tracking and analytics technologies will only be deployed subject to your consent via our Cookie Banner, where you may opt-in or opt-out at any time.
7. Sharing of Information
Information may be shared with verified temple Partners, event organizers, and payment providers strictly to fulfill the services you request. We may also disclose data to regulatory or law enforcement authorities when legally mandated under the DPDP Act or other Indian laws.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill its purpose. Account data is retained while your account is active and for 1 year post-deletion. Transaction and financial records are retained for 7 years to comply with the Income Tax Act. Consent logs are retained permanently to ensure DPDP compliance.
9. User Rights under DPDP Act 2023
Under the DPDP Act 2023, you have the right to: access your personal data, request correction of inaccurate data, request erasure of your data (Right to be Forgotten), withdraw consent at any time, and nominate a representative in the event of incapacity or death.
10. Children's Privacy & Age Verification
DevGruha strictly prohibits account creation by minors without verifiable parental consent. During registration, we issue explicit warnings: 'This section requires a Parent or Legal Guardian. Falsifying age or identity data violates the DPDP Act 2023 and is subject to statutory user penalties of up to ₹10,000.' We maintain strict audit trails (IP, timestamps, verification tokens) of age declaration to ensure compliance and shift liability for identity fraud to the offending user.
11. Security Measures & Breach Notification
We implement robust technical and organizational safeguards to protect user information. In the unlikely event of a personal data breach, DevGruha commits to notifying the Data Protection Board of India and all affected Users in accordance with Section 8(6) of the DPDP Act 2023.
12. International Access
Data is stored securely on servers located in India. Users accessing DevGruha from outside India acknowledge that their information will be processed and stored within Indian jurisdiction.
13. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may modify this Privacy Policy to reflect legal or operational changes. We will provide a 30-day advance notice for any material changes. Where legally required, we will seek fresh consent for new data processing purposes.
14. Grievance Redressal
To exercise your data rights or report privacy concerns, you may contact our designated Grievance Officer.
